He has served as an Employee Development Consultant and holds certifications in leadership training from both Ken Blanchard and Stephen Covey, along with certifications in Problem-Solving and Process Improvement from the Juran Institute.

As a pastor, Kevin Lee McCants understands the real-life challenges facing working families across all income levels. He and his wife both hold CDL Class A and Class B licenses and have driven 18-wheelers over the road as team drivers. Together, they also own a school bus and serve as contract drivers within the Rutherford County School System. Kevin additionally drives a dump truck for a local concrete company and often proudly shares that the first 30 names on his candidate petition for both Tennessee Governor and U.S. Senate were all fellow dump truck drivers.

Today, Kevin’s focus is committed to preparing Tennessee and the nation for a changing future shaped by technology, workforce transformation, and economic transition. His combined background in engineering, psychology, leadership development, ministry, and hands-on labor uniquely positions him to address issues such as preserving income and healthcare as artificial intelligence integrates into the workforce, reducing national debt, and helping ensure the long-term stability of Social Security. His solutions are rooted in both data-driven strategy and compassion for everyday people.
